Rustic Elegance: A Sustainable Florist’s Guide to Styling Trenderway Farm

Celebrating love with wild, seasonal blooms in the heart of Pelynt's premier eco-estate.

Trenderway Farm is a beautifully restored stone barn venue that places sustainability at the absolute core of everything it does. Nestled in a peaceful valley near Pelynt, its combination of white-washed walls, exposed oak beams, and sprawling festoon-lit courtyards offers a perfect canvas for natural, field-to-vase floristry. As a farm that champions environmental responsibility, Trenderway aligns perfectly with our off-grid, low-impact growing methods, making it an effortlessly harmonious backdrop for our chemical-free, Cornish blooms.

Full Bespoke Styling Opportunities

• The Mowhay Ceremony: We love framing this striking, historic space with large, floor-standing, foam-free meadow installations. By building these directly onto the floor along the aisle and framing the ceremony space, it feels as though the flowers are growing right up through the beautiful oak floors.

• The Linhay Barn Feast Tables: Trenderway's long wooden trestle tables call for shared, communal warmth. We design unstructured, low-level footed bowls filled with fragrant, airy stems, delicate textures, and soft seasonal foliage. This allows for easy conversation across the tables without blocking anyone’s view.

• The Meadow Backdrop: This is Trenderway’s dedicated outdoor ceremony space, sitting at the top of a gently sloping field with idyllic valley views stretching down toward the Cornish coast. For outdoor blessings on the raised balcony deck or drinks in the festoon-lit courtyard, we can style unstructured, asymmetric archways. Built using abundant seasonal florals and climbing stems woven together, these romantic installations ripple gently in the coastal breeze.

The Hybrid & DIY Bloom Bucket Option

Because Trenderway bookings often feel like a relaxed, multi-day retreat, spending the day before your wedding styling your tables with your bridal party is a beautiful way to ground yourself.

• How it works: We take care of the high-stakes, technically complex pieces—such as your statement bridal bouquet, buttonholes, and any large floor installations.

• The DIY Element: We deliver buckets of freshly cut, coordinating stems directly to Trenderway. You and your loved ones can spend a peaceful afternoon placing our chemical-free blooms into your own selection of stoneware bottles or clear glass bud vases along those long feast tables.

Helpful FAQs

Sustainability & Flower Selection

Can I request specific flower varieties?

We design intentionally with the rhythms of nature. While we cannot guarantee exact stem counts of a specific flower, we strictly work within your chosen colour palette and vibe using the absolute best of our seasonal field harvests.

What makes your flowers eco-friendly?

Our blooms are 100% British and grown using organic, regenerative principles. They emit 86% less CO2 than refrigerated imports and protect local pollinators by using zero synthetic chemicals.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

Cornish weather is notoriously unpredictable. We always collaborate directly with your venue's coordinator to smoothly pivot outdoor designs—like aisle markers or arches—into their indoor backup spaces.

Booking & Planning

How far in advance should we book?

We are currently booking for 2027 and 2028 weddings. Because we limit the number of weddings we take per weekend to guarantee peak quality, we recommend securing your date 12 to 18 months in advance.

Do you have a minimum spend for weddings?

We offer bespoke, full-service floristry for larger celebrations, alongside curated packages for intimate elopements. Contact us today to receive our current seasonal investment guide.

Can we repurpose ceremony flowers for the reception?

Yes, we love maximising your blooms. Movable arrangements like our signature meadow nests, milk churns, and registry table florals can easily transition to your evening dining tables.
